In 1931, our founder, Ram Lal Golchha started Hanuman Industries as his first company in Biratnagar to export jute from Nepal to industries in India. Shortly, with the help of the government and businessmen from India, he started the manufacture of Jute products in Nepal, making it the very first industry in Nepal and opening the country's doors to industrialization.

Almost a decade after the establishment of the very first business entity in the country, members of the Golchha family now operate over 100 companies that have been playing important roles in the development of industrial and trading activities in Nepal.
